Does Acorn help me find influencers or micro-influencers?
At this time we do not have a tool to help you find influencers. Here are some tips that might help:
Look for posts on Instagram using hashtags relevant to your store.
Look at who your competitors follow.
Look at your customers and see if any of them have a good Instagram presence. If you have more than 1000 customers in the past 6 months, contact us and we can help you sort through it.
Can we contact ambassadors through the Acorn app?
At this time, we don't have a way to help you reach out to influencers. You have to reach out via email or DM. Plus, it's good to form a personal relationship with your ambassadors!
Can I reward influencers via cash payments (for example via PayPal)?
At this time, the only way influencers can redeem points automatically on Acorn is via a store discount code. Learn more here: How influencers can redeem points.
You can of course manually reward them with cash payments (or any other non-discount reward) outside of Acorn and subtract the corresponding point value from their balance. However, this is not automatically handled by Acorn.
Is it possible to make an influencer promo code without the discount percentage at the end?
Yes! Go to the Preview & Setup tab and edit the Share Code card. There is an option to turn off adding a the discount value to the end of promo codes.
For promo codes, how do I edit the start and end dates or product collections?
Is there a way to pre-load influencers with the points they've already earned with me?
Yes! Make sure you have the influencers added to Acorn first.
If you have influencers in Acorn already, go to the Dashboard tab. Next to each influencer's point balance, you should see a circular button with a "+" symbol. Click this to adjust points. Learn more here: How to manually adjust an influencer's point balance.
How can I remove points from an influencer?
Go to the Dashboard tab. Next to each influencer's point balance, you should see a circular button with a "+" symbol. Click this to adjust points. Enter a negative number to remove points. Learn more here: How to manually adjust an influencer's point balance.
Can I give a link for a specific product for each influencer in the same program?
We currently only support the same link destination for all influencers in the program. You can change this link destination at any time on the Pro plan.
Is there a way to export ambassador links?
Yes! Go to the Manage Influencers tab and click the CSV button on the top right.
How can I remove an influencer from my Influencer Program?
Go to the Manage Influencers tab and hover over the influencer that you want to delete (or tap their name if you're on mobile). You should see a red "x" appear to at the right of the row. Click the red "x" to remove that influencer.
If you delete an influencer in Acorn, promo codes that Acorn created will be deleted. Promo codes that you created in Shopify Admin will not be deleted, even if you delete the influencer in Acorn.
Does Acorn offer influencer pages in other languages besides English?
I am / my influencer is having trouble connecting an Instagram account.
